Optiva Securities Limited is pleased to announce they have been appointed as joint broker for ECR Minerals PLC, to which it has permitted more than 1bn warrants, including 400m warrants exercisable immediately at 0.005p, and a further 500m at the same price, granting on completion of the subscription. Each warrant will entitle Optiva to subscribe for one ordinary share of 0.001 pence at the specified exercise price and will be exercisable for three years.Craig Brown, newly appointed chief executive of ECR said: "The subscription, which was oversubscribed by 15%, is an encouraging vote of confidence in ECR’s future.
ECR Minerals PLC (LON:ECR) (formerly Mercator Gold plc), is a mineral development company that is focused on exploration and have been incorporated in the UK with interests abroad in Argentina, the USA, Indonesia, Thailand and Australia. Its projects and interests encompass a range of commodities with a particular focus on gold and base metals. ECR Minerals also owns the Avoca and Baillieston gold projects which is located in Victoria, Australia, where it will use the money to examine new opportunities and towards on going activity there.
